The Houston Baptist signee got the start on Thursday and showed some toughness early in the game. In each of the 1st 2 innings, the opponent had the bases loaded with nobody out, and Baumann managed to only give up one run in those two innings. After that he was pretty dominant. The FB got up to 89 and he featured a CB, SL and CH. The slider generated some swings out of the zone, and the CB he was able to drop in for strikes. Baumann is a competitor and it is always fun to watch him take the mound.
