Starting from neutral stance with high hands and good flex in his lower half, Pearson loads back with a reverse leg lift as he triggers his hands back into an arm bar, then strides forward. Good feel for rhythm and the tempo to maintain balance with his front foot hanging in the air, allowing him to land balanced as he sinks into his lower half, slotting the barrel into the zone early. During the game, he drove in a run on an RBI single. In the outfield, he plays through the ball with quick footwork, cutting distance before throwing from an over the top slot with a top velocity of 83 mph. A two-way player and right-handed pitcher, Pearson works from a ¾ slot with a tall-and-fall delivery and athletic finish. His fastball ranged from 70-75 mph with arm side run. Slider has early break and 10/4 shape at 66 mph.
