02.19.18  Uncommitted. Estimated 5-foot-11, 165-pound frame. Taylor is an arm that college coaches will want to see sooner rather than later. The right-hander works from an over the top slot with a loose arm swing and athletic delivery with good hip turn and drive down the mound. His fastball was 84-87, topped out at 88 in warmups. Fastball comes out clean with regular effort. Although his curveball was better last week (74-75 mph), the arm works well and there is a feel for spin with a high ceiling. His changeup was 77 mph.

02.14.18 Estimated 6-foot-1, 165-pound frame. Taylor had a solid outing, showing excellent feel for three pitches. The right-hander works from a high slot with a loose arm stroke. His fastball topped out at 86 mph early, eventually settling in to 84-85 mph. Can spin his curveball for a strike early in the count, and put hitters away late in counts. The pitch has 12/6 shape and sharp break at 74-75 mph. Mixes his changeup at 75-77 with fastball arm speed and arm side fade.
