Was on the barrel all day, lacing line drives through the middle of the field during batting practice, flashing power to the pull side with an exit velocity of 88 mph. During the game, Kemp scorched a single to left field and hustled to second base without breaking stride as the outfielder bobbled the ball. In his second at-bat, he hammered a fly ball to centerfield. In the outfield, Kemp threw 84 mph to the plate with carry and accuracy. Ran a 7.24 60-yard dash.
