Was an interesting two-way player as well. At the plate he showed discipline, a smooth swing, and the ability to hit. He crushed a double to left off the base of the fence, and the ball was on a line the entire time. Then he stepped on the mound and sat around the 82 mph range. With a good frame on him, Kowalik needs to add some size and strength - and there’s room to do so. When he does, he’ll be an interesting player to follow.
