6-foot-3, 195-pounds (Central Catholic, TX) Projectable bodied left-hander with good arm strength, and a fastball that sits 82-85 and touches 86. Shows some feel for a changeup with four-seam spin at 69 that has a chance to be a good pitch. Stands tall on the mound with a fragmented delivery which affects his ability to repeat an arm slot.
6-foot-3, 230-pound frame. Fastball was 76-78 mph and topped out at 80 mph. High arching 12-6 curveball varying between 62-65 mph. Showed a changeup ranging from 71-73. Spattered locations with fastball, was able to locate better with off-speed.
He was 78-81 mph with his fastball, having better location than his previous outing. He was also sharper with his breaking ball and changeup, working quickly through the MacArthur lineup for the first time. MacArthur was able to create a big inning with 6 runs in the fourth inning.
