The LSU Eunice signee was very impressive on Saturday batting leadoff for Jesuit. The LHH delivered consistent hard contact and had a great feel for the strike zone. He showed a disciplined approach and had no problem hitting with 2 strikes. With Riley leading a talented Jesuit offense, they should be poised to make a run once again.
Positional Profile: OF
Body: 6-foot-1, 185 pounds.
Hit: SH. Balanced stance with a slightly wide base, leg kick load trigger, takes hands back to trigger swing, level swing plane hitting balls to the pull-side from the right side. Same setup and swing from left side, while hitting balls to all fields.
Power: 94.6 mph max exit velocity in BP, 83.9 mph average exit velocity, 328 feet max distance, 40% of batted balls over 90 mph exit velocity.
Arm: RH. OF - 91 mph. Long arm action, ¾ slot, good carry with accurate throws at times.
