The left-hander works from a high-¾ slot with a slightly cross-fire delivery and athletic finish. Fastball has good life coming across the zone at 87-90 mph. Threw a slider at 75-76 that had lateral 2/8 shape and was more of a sweeper early, but did show some depth in the second and third innings. A two-way player, Beck is a left-handed hitter at the top of the Reedy order.
