Positional Profile: OF/2B Sparks is approaching his senior season and is looking to put up some solid numbers to peak colleges' interest. As he gets into a rythym this spring, it should be interesting to see what happens.
Body: 5-8, 157-pounds.
Hit: RHH. Wide and open stance, alot of bat wiggle. Barrell stays in zone for a while, nice two hand finish. 63 mph bat speed with 9 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 90 max exit velocity, averaged 78.4 mph. 237' max distance. More of a base hit batter, not trying to swing for the fences.
Arm: RH. OF-78 mph. Uses mostly arm, get legs involved and throw through target.
ATH: 7.35 runner in the 60. 1.77 and 4.03 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. 28.80 max vertical.
