6-foot, 155-pound frame with wiry strength and a high waist.  Boggan made loud contact during BP by hitting balls hard off the barrel that carried to the gaps.  He has an athletic stance with weight pre-set on his backside, Boggan gets off that backside when he drives the lower half, and his barrel is in the zone a while getting good extension on plane.  Boggan has a balanced approach and flashed fast bat-speed. From the infield he has smooth actions with a clean exchange and the ball has carry when his body is in rhythm; topped out at 86 mph across the diamond.  Boggan ran a 7.12 laser-timed 60. Off the mound, he has a loose arm action and his fastball has slight arm-side run at 81-83 mph. His changeup flashed the potential to be a plus pitch at 71 mph, he has deceptive arm speed, and the ball falls off the table late with command of the pitch.  His curveball had a big 11/5 shape, and he showed the ability to throw this pitch in the zone for a strike at 66-67 mph. Boggan should continue to develop, and his tools will also develop as he gets stronger in his frame.
