Physically imposing athlete who has added noticeable strength this offseason with still more room to come. Plus runner (6.73 60) with a plus arm showing carry (93 mph OF velo). Impact bat with consistent loud contact, topped 108+ EV and averaged 101+ EV in BP. Clear 2027 follow. Also threw a short bullpen, working up to 92 mph with carry through the zone. Slider showed 2300+ spin with sweep/slurvy action. Premium tools on both sides of the ball.
Drake in his 2 rounds of BP. Round 1…take some swings, get loose. Round 2…hit balls hard, including some high and really far. The most impressive aspect of his day. Didn’t need to be there, committed to CWS Champion LSU. Spends the afternoon with his Cobras teammates and friends. Player you want in your org, and not just because of the talent.
