Positional Profile: C/OF
Body: 5-7, 173-pounds. Solid build/frame, can add strength. Lower has some thickness now.
Hit: SH. LHH…weight shift back to initiate drawback toe tap stride, foot returns to where it started. Rotational back foot that gets lower 1/2 involved, can be improved…late with back foot/hip driving forward. RHH…weight shift back to start stride, ends up in solid position to hit. Similar to LHH, back foot has late rotation causing hip to not be fully involved in swing. LHH..dead stop hands/barrel, hands get past 6 inches back foot with weight shift load to start swing. Length to swing, needs to shorten for success. RHH…barrel/hands start in solid position, late hand push back on wrist movement causes length swing and wrap. Would liken to see a smaller/quieter trigger to start swing taking advantage of solid starting spot. 67 mph bat speed with 23 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 96 max exit velocity, averaged 80.5 mph. 289' max distance. Opportunities for adjustments that will help with power development and contact consistency. Upside to bat/power.
Arm: RH. C-74 mph. Arm works well, fair arm speed, can improve with long toss throwing program.
Defense: 2.03-2.10 pop times. Receives well, shows avg quickness with feet, can improve footwork direction by closing off stride more when throwing to 2nd. Solid tools behind the plate with opportunities to improve.
ATH: 7.54 runner in the 60. Runs hard. 24.30 max vertical.
Positional Profile: C/OF The switch hitting catcher showed good pop from both sides of the plate with above avg. bat speed. He showed a good, accurate arm from behind the plate and was right around a 2.0 pop time every throwdown.
Body: 5-6, 173-pounds.
Hit: SH. Switch hitter, slight leg kick. Really loads up into the back hip. Has some loft in the swing from both sides. 67.9 mph bat speed with 28 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 92 max exit velocity, averaged 79.4 mph. 343' max distance. Has pull side power from both sides of the plate.
Arm: RH. C-72 mph. Above avg. arm from behind the plate. Accurate as well.
Defense: 2.01-2.12 pop times. Good receiver of the baseball, should make his pitchers better.
ATH: 7.66 runner in the 60. 1.77 and 4.20 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. 23.90 max vertical.
