Positional Profile: 1B/3B Good build to add strength for the RHH 1st baseman. Opportunity to increase some in future. Moves fine on baseball field. Will be solid defender at 1st in future. Opportunities for adjustments present with hit approach and swing. Will develop into solid player.
Body: 6-1, 203-pounds. Solid build/frame to add strength in future.
Hit: RHH. Knee lift stride, lands in good position to hit. Nice job of using lower 1/2 in swing. Hits into firm front side. Posture varies at times, body lays back slightly on swings, would like to see little more upright posture consistency. Overall, solid hit approach. Barrel/hands in solid position to launch. Some length to swing present, work to take direct path with knob/hand to hit. Gets on plane with baseball. Fair bat/hand speed, expect to increase with added strength. Bat speed can be improved, work to increase. 63.2 mph bat speed with 17 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 90 max exit velocity, averaged 83.3 mph. 291' max distance. Project solid bat/power combo in future. Couple of development opportunities present. Solid upside, looking for bat speed to increase in future.
Arm: RH. INF-71 mph. Arm works fine. Recommend developing long toss program to increase arm speed and raw arm strength.
Defense: Moves well coming off bag to field baseball, shows feel for footwork fielding and making throws to 2nd. When back at 1st, shows nice foot work getting to baseball. Will be solid defender at 1st.
ATH: 7.46 runner in the 60. Hands on hips to start, remove from hips, getting athletic. Upright runner, develop lean forward with head and shoulders until finishing. Run time can improve with adjustments.
