4/18/18 - 5’11/180, L/R, Junior- Well-rounded, scrappy ball player; the type who grows on scouts for his approach to the game and effort he gives. Good energy and bounce to his step during pre-game I/O on Thursday. Average arm, throws from all angles. Average runner and defender with good body control. Very quick, clean transfer/release on double-plays. Ran a 4.34 to first base on a ground ball. Spray hitter with good hand/eye. Sets up in the back of the box in a spread stance. Short stride. Quiet in the box. Repeats his swing with average bat speed. Below average raw power. Good two strike approach, as he changes his swing to help put the ball in play. Performance-wise, it was a tough look, as he struggled in the cold over the weekend. Went 0-for-9 at the plate, leaving 10 runners on base. His great makeup and grit supplement his balanced toolset. Biggers profiles as a ML utility infielder and he should see his name selected somewhere around the seventh round this June.
