Jett Vindiola, Weatherford (TX), 2026 Kansas State
Positional Profile: C/C LHH/C great build/frame to add strength. Runs well, have had at 6.88 in past. Solid mover behind plate, blocks well, receives well, great target. Raw arm strength present, solid pop times. Project solid bat/power combo in future with adjustments, high ceiling. Hits baseball hard now, will continue to develop impact ability. Contact consistency will improve with adjustments. LHH/C with athleticism, can throw, receives well, hard contact with high ceiling with bat. Follow progress.
Body: 6-3, 205-pounds. Great build/frame to add strength. Width to shoulders and back. Solid lower. Projects well physically.
Hit: LHH. Rotational back foot, gets stuck in rotation, work to get fully turned and on time completely engaging lower 1/2 in swing. Hits into firm front leg with good upright posture. Stride foot lands with foot at 45 degree angle, rolls onto side of stride foot. Work to keep foot into ground at at least to contact, getting stride foot into ground should help in getting backside completely involved. Good hand speed present now with solid and developing bat speed. Hands/barrel start in solid position, with stride, lead shoulder lowers slightly, back elbow goes up creating barrel tip and length. Work to soften back elbow limiting barrel tip. Length to swing, barrel works down and up. When back elbow moves down, lead elbow flares up creating barrel dump. (Top hand falls below top hand) Work to soften back elbow. 69.6 mph bat speed with 12 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 103 max exit velocity, averaged 94.2 mph. 367' max distance. Solid bat/power combo in future with adjustments to hit approach and swing. Hits baseballs hard now with upside. Contact consistency and impact will for with adjustments. High ceiling to bat/power.
Arm: RH. C-84 mph. Short arm action with carry present. Arm speed is there. Good direction and shows accuracy.
Defense: 1.84-1.96 pop times. Stays low and works through even w/ tall frame. Quiet. Athletic mover with soft hands.
ATH: 24.70 max vertical.
Strong, projectable frame with athleticism and room to add more strength. Moves well behind the plate, has previously run a 6.88 60, and shows mobility to block and keep the ball in front. Displays raw arm strength with workout pop times ranging 1.84–1.96, and a 1.93 in-game CS throw on target. At the plate, produced a 103.7 mph top exit velo in BP and tallied three hits in games, including a 98 mph double to RCF off a slider. Offense shows impact potential with opportunities for refinement in the swing. High-upside commit for Kansas State and a legitimate pro prospect — worth following closely in the spring depending on his interest in pro ball and signability.
