6/27/17 - Logged three innings, allowing a run on one hit and two walks while striking out five. His fastball sat 89-91, touching 92-93. He has a thick frame at 6-foot-1, 217 pounds and pitches with a simplified windup. His curveball has big break and was generally soft and loopy, but he flashed some with sharpness and depth. It sat 71-74 with 1/7 shape.

06.20.17 - 6-foot-1, 210-pound, strong frame. The left-hander works from a high-¾ slot and locates his fastball very well to his arm side with late life. His fastball sat 90-92 mph, topping out at 93 mph. His breaking ball was slurvey at 72-74 mph and his changeup was 83 mph

Texas A&M recruit. 6-foot-1, 200-pound frame. The left-hander works from a high-¾ slot with a strong delivery. Fastball jumps on hitters at 87-90 mph, and works both sides of the plate. His curveball is sharp and late, downward bite. Menefee works with quick tempo and is very competitive on the mound. At the plate, the left-handed hitter has a line drive stroke with gap power. Has an aggressive approach and hammers fastballs. After throwing five innings, Menefee made a spectacular, full extension diving play at first base. The two-way player has a high ceiling and plays the game with real energy.
