The left-hander works with a slower tempo in his windup, as he takes his rocker step slightly forward and then lifts his leg back into his tall balance point, is closed with shoulder and hip while in balance point, breaks his hands off his back hip, uses his shoulders pulling through to get back in-line and has a ¾ release point. His fastball was 73-77 mph, he spun his curveball at 63-66 mph and flashed the ability to throw this pitch to the right-handed hitter’s back foot, and threw his changeup at 70-73 with depth when the pitch was down.
