Standing 6-foot-2, Pechanec works quick between pitches, locating his fastball at 85-87 with arm side run, topping out at 88. Does a nice job of keeping his changeup at the bottom of the zone at 79-81 mph. Slider has tight rotation at 77-78 mph. Maintains his velocity out of the stretch, and can throw all three pitches for strikes.
