4/11/18 - 6’4/270, Junior. Strong, towering, thick frame. Heavy footed at first base, missed several balls during pre-game I/O. Right-handed hitter starts from a wide stance with rhythm and balance as he sits into his lower half with flex in his knees. Pushes back into a reverse leg lift, replacing his front foot with a short stride. Inside-out path, did a nice job of hammering balls out over the plate. Walked in his first at bat when he didn’t get much to hit. Pulled his hands in on an inside fastball where he grounded out to second base. Crushed a line drive to right-centerfield that was caught on the track. Then hammered a slider to deep left-centerfield that was caught on the track.
