Tellez is quickly becoming one of my favorite players in the metroplex. He had a loud night on Tuesday. He had an RBI 2B in the 1st and later in the game delivered the knockout blow with a towering HR to left. There is some bat speed and intent in everyone of Tellez’s swing. He is also fun to watch in the field. He made a nice back hand play up the middle during the game and showed plenty of arm strength. I think he could slide over and play short if needed as well. He pitches as well, just adding to his versatility. Tellez plays the game hard and sticks out every time I see him.
