The Colorado Mesa commit stands 6-foot-1, 175-pound with a wiry-strong frame. He works from an over the top slot and creates good downward tilt on his fastball at 85-88 mph. He throws a heavy changeup from 70-73 mph. In his short stint, Anz was only using his FB/CH combo and still managed to make short work of the Highland Park line-up. Anz also swung the bat well showing some all around athleticism on two extra-base hits. His first was a double down the third base line and he was a 4.69 on the turn, his second was a triple that he scorched to right-centerfield.
