7/3/19: Sikes is a speedy outfield prospect with the ability to swing it. Starting mostly in CF for Eau Claire, the future Horned Frog is a polished athlete who can really handle the bat. Through 86 PA, his OPS continues to hover around the .850 mark and has shown the ability to do damage when he elevates the ball. At 6-foot, 180 pounds, Sikes has broad shoulders and room to pack on muscle to his already solid frame. He is a complete hitter with a gap- to- gap approach that can spray the ball to all fields through his simple swing that produces raw bat speed. There may be a future on the mound as well, striking out 18 in his first 9.1 innings this summer and 21 k’s in his 9.1 innings this spring. Very high- end athlete to watch into next year. (DeGagne)
