Switch hitter, upper cut oriented swing, allowing for good lift on the ball, both sides mirror each other, lots of power with a 97 mph exit velocity, able to do this with great usage of backside and balance throughout the swing. OF work posted 86 mph throws, long arm in back and fundamental footwork and approach.

Etheridge has a projectable frame with strength throughout at 6-foot-3, 195-pounds. The switch-hitter started the day with a 7.07 60-yard dash. From the left side he creates natural lift with a tall setup and low hand position. Reverse leg lift to load as he triggers his hands back and strides forward. Rotates his lower half to transfer weight with authority, while his hands work fast through the zone on a slightly uphill path and sits into his lower half on the finish. Launched balls through the middel of the field and posted a top exit velocity of 97 mph. From the right side, he has a similar setup with twitchy hands that trigger as he lifts his front leg. Creates quality separation that allows him to deliver the barrel with gap power. In the outfield, he plays through the ball with rhythm and threw 86 from the outfield from a ¾ slot.
