4/11/18 - 6’1/210, Junior. Right-hander works from high- slot with long arm swing. Repeatable delivery, lands square with average effort. Fastball sat mostly 89-91, topping out at 92, flashing arm side depth at times. Although he had a strikeout per inning, he did not miss many barrels with his fastball. Curveball is his go-to pitch with good 11/5 shape at 75-77 with tight spin and depth. Was able to get swings and misses late in counts to both right and left-handed hitters. Mixes the changeup in more to left-handed hitters at 82-85. Worked through some early trouble, where he gave up extra base hits, mostly off his fastball. Final line 7 IP, 10 H, 6 R, 5 ER, 0 BB, 7 K.
