Day first stood out during pre-game when he was taking ground balls in left field, played through the ball with a bounce in his step, soft hands and rhythm. Caught during the game, showed athleticism, soft hands, accurate throws to second base. Good bat speed at the plate, had a double to left center in game 1, ran 5.0 on the turn. In the second game he had a single to left field and flew out on the barrel to centerfield. Good feel for the game, athletic player that will be fun to watch in the future.
