Armendariz spent a good portion of this past high school sidelined by a four-wheeling accident. But the 6-foot-1, 160-pound, left-handed hitting infielder is back and ready play. Balanced approach during BP, his barrel stays in the zone a long time as he attacks the inside part of the ball on a flat plane with a line drive approach and an exit velocity of 94 mph. Moves really well at shortstop and has a quick first step. Soft hands, clean exchange and rhythm as he plays through the ball. Has the arm strength and fell to stay on the left side of the infield with a top velocity of 86 mph across the diamond.
