Hit: LH. Slightly crouched stance, small leg kick load trigger, barrel tilt swing trigger, uphill swing plane hitting line drives and fly balls to the middle of the field and pull-side.
Power: 86.3 mph max exit velocity in BP, 78.8 mph average exit velocity, 303 feet max distance.
Arm: RH. INF - 84 mph. Short arm action, ¾ slot, good carry with accurate throws.
Defense: Good footwork getting into fielding position, fields the ball in rhythm towards his target with a clean funnel to release at times.
Run: 6.75 runner in the 60.
Zarella showed well, running a 6.75 60 and was 84 across the diamond. He had good actions in the infield showing good footwork and soft hands. A LHH hitter who had an impressive round of batting practice as well.
