Positional Profile: 3B/SS Player with tools needing to be refined. Chance to be good player. Hitting has opportunities to improve. Defensively it's all there. I like the upside with adjustments.
Body: 6-0, 195-pounds. Solid build with room to add strength. Lower shows strength/thickness now.
Hit: RHH. Open stance start with feet just wider than shoulders, short stride to online with mound. Small weight shift to backside, does a good job of staying stacked on back leg with stride. Rotational back foot, lower 1/2 works well in swing. Barrel/hands in good position to launch, relatively short swing to baseball with slight uphill path, front shoulder pulls off slightly causing causing bat to not drive thru ball middle/away. Some opportunities to improve. 64.1 mph bat speed with 8 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 85 max exit velocity, averaged 72.3 mph. 309' max distance. Power will play to pull side, contact consistency will improve with adjustments.
Arm: RH. INF-88 mph. Arm works, will have avg arm in future.
Defense: 1st step can be quicker, moves methodically to baseball, feet get body into position, good get there earlier. Fields ball deep. Shows avg body control. Corner infielder for me. Everything is there for him to be avg infielder, almost looks like he doesn't have confidence moving to ball right now. Needs reps.
ATH: 7.35 runner in the 60. Hard runner.
