Will is an athletic player with a good build and room to add strength. He ran a 7.03 60-yard dash and has solid footwork when fielding the ball. His hands work well, and he shows the ability to throw from all angles with carry on his throws. He has a solid approach at the plate, consistently making line-drive contact and finding the barrel.
On the mound, Will shows solid delivery with good arm speed. His fastball topped out at 90 mph and has tail action to both sides of the plate. His curveball, at 72-75 mph, has swing-and-miss potential, and he shows good feel for the pitch. Fastball command is some of the best in his class.
