Bayler Schilling (Canyon, 2026), a 6'2", 186-pound junior, is a RHP with a projectable frame and athleticism on the mound. His fastball sits 88-89 mph with tailing action to the arm side, showing effective down-plane action in the zone and some carry when elevated. Schilling also features a curveball (70-71 mph) that flashes solid action when released consistently, and a developing changeup (78-79 mph) with tail and sink. His delivery utilizes his lower half well, and with continued refinement to timing and finish, his overall consistency will improve. Schilling’s arm speed and frame suggest future velocity gains. He’s part of a strong group of talented West Texas arms we had the chance to see this preseason, adding to the region's exciting crop of pitching prospects.
