Positional Profile: C/SS Player with defensive versatility. Tools are present, needs some adjustments to maximize ability. Strength is coming.
Body: 5-8, 157-pounds. Good frame to add strength.
Hit: RHH. Upright stance with feet wider than shoulders, loads into back leg then has short stride, weight stays back. Back side varies, majority linear movement, will occasionally have rotational back foot. I like the hip drive from the linear movement. Hands start just above shoulders with barrel starting slightly wrapped, barrel tip movement prior to launch creating length to swing with scoop/uphill path. Presently bat/hand speed is below avg. Must shorten swing for long term success. 58.9 mph bat speed with 6 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 86 max exit velocity, averaged 76.6 mph. 285' max distance. Pull side power, will improve with strength. Contact consistently will improve with adjustments.
Arm: RH. C-74 mph. INF-81 mph. Catching..arm works well with accurate throws. Can see with avg raw catchers arm strength in future. Infield play..works well, avg future. Showed that he can throw from most angles.
Defense: 1.94-2.01 pop times. Catching…receives well, frames. Good exchange, moves well setting feet to throw. Infield…solid actions and footwork, moved well to baseball. Catching is slightly ahead of infield play on this look.
ATH: 7.64 runner in the 60. 1.74 and 4.15 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. Runs hard. 26.50 max vertical.
