Positional Profile: RHP/1B Great build/frame to add strength. Repeats delivery, arm works. Look for velo spike. FB plays up/down in zone. Life present down showing carry up. Slider will develop into swing and miss pitch. Upside. Watch development.
Body: 6-6, 185-pounds. Width to shoulders/back. Good middle/lower. Projects to have an abv avg HS pitchers body.
Delivery: High knee lift, stride leg works down the slope, gets over front leg, solid finish. Head puller, showing some effort. Gets quick with front side at times. Works fast.
Arm Action: RH. Full circle, works well. 3/4 slot, solid finish.
FB: T88, 86-88 mph. Shows tail, tail/sink action to arm side, sink down. Look for velo spike. T2465, 2349 average rpm.
SL: 77-78 mph. Flashes solid spin, finish. Will develop into swing and miss pitch. T2388, 1971 average rpm.
Long, lanky frame with plenty of projection. The arm works well, and a velocity jump is coming. Fastball reached 88 with downhill plane, arm-side tail/sink, and carry through the zone, working effectively to three quadrants. Slider topped at 78 and flashed average action. Attacked hitters, worked quickly, and consistently threw strikes.
Excellent frame with strength gains ahead. Arm works well with developing arm speed. Fastball worked 83-84, topping 85, with good plane and carry. Curveball (72-76) shows solid spin and finish. Strike thrower with projection; velocity should continue to climb.
