Positional Profile: OF/C Athletic with good build to add strength. Solid bat/power combo with opportunities to improve. Defensive versatility. Developing behind the plate.
Body: 5-9, 163-pounds. Solid build showing some present strength with opportunity to add more.
Hit: RHH. Wide stance with weight shift into back leg to start. No stride approach. Solid use of lower with some linear movement to back foot, could possibly drive back foot slightly forward more. Posture is solid, can hit into front foot/leg more getting tad bit more upright. Couple of small opportunities to try and see if feel comfortable. Hands/barrel start in solid position. Some length created with slight push away to initiate swing. Limiting push away with smaller trigger will shorten swing taking advantage of solid bat/hand speed, more efficient swing. Like the contact and line drives created. Overall solid swing with opportunities to improve. 72 mph bat speed with 22 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 95 max exit velocity, averaged 86.8 mph. 357' max distance. Nice approach/swing with opportunities to improve. Solid contact with line drives, more there to come. Solid hitter.
Arm: RH. C-79 mph. OF-90 mph. Arm works showing carry to throws both in OF and catching. Pop times can improve with improved release.
Defense: 2.04-2.14 pop times. OF…moves well to baseball. Good job of breaking down fielding baseball. Catching…receives baseball fine, nice job of framing. Footwork setting to throw can improve, at times waits to receive baseball before gaining any ground. Start moving forward a tad earlier.
ATH: 6.64 runner in the 60. 1.63 and 3.72 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. Plus runner with quickness present for SB's. 34.50 max vertical.
