A small pint size rat with quality defensive actions and a soft glove with quickness side to side. Confident mannerisms and movement patterns. Addresses the glove out front and plays low to the ground and the ball finds the glove. Confident backhand with educated feet and a quick efficient release with carry and quality arm action with extension. Sound coming in and gains ground on the slow roller in front with some dance and accurate throws. Not a raw straight away runner, due to a lack of lower ½ and thigh strength. Can improve if he really gets after it in the gym with another 15-20 Lbs. The bat plays and the swing plays with a sound swing pattern. The hands are fast and quick with a compact short inside out stroke. The hands accelerate through contact into a whippy two hand finish with sound recoil. I would like to see what this kid plays like if he was 5-8 160 right now with added strength. Some of the better athletic movement patterns of the event. Would like to see him request an invite to the Top Prospect Games on July 14-15 at BYU in front of dozens of schools that will be in attendance!
