Karren has a lean athletic body with a good look. Offensively he carried the bat with the barrel tipped back and lifts his leg for timing and lays the barrel open and drops the barrel behind the back shoulder. The bat takes a negative path through the backside of the stroke. Does need to use his legs more and utilize his lower 1/2 to generate more bat speed. Defensively there’s some tentative movement patterns on approach to fielding the baseball. The arm lacks arms speed and a good long toss program will help build added arm strength.
