A surprise arm that broke out at the Utah Summer ID in June and caught my attention with his athletic 6-2 185 build and clean arm stroke. When I went looking for my last arm for the West Coast Games, I thought of a raw upside kid that just needs to be around top shelf players and a solid pitching coach, as the ceiling could be a lightning in a bottle type. Lindquist can spin the ball as well as anyone in the state with his FB/CB combo and run the Hester up to 88-89 with ease. This is a 92-93 arm in the making, with an emphasis on the gym and getting the most out of his bullpen settings. Would it surprise me if he just takes off and runs the table? NO! Would it surprise me if he is missed and doesn’t get his opportunity? NO! There is a strong JC/D2 out there who could not afford to miss evaluating this kid, but he is flying under the radar for a variety of reasons and any coach interested in taking a flyer on this kind of arm, needs to get a hold of me ASAP!
