On the dirt, Barfuss moves with strong instincts and a quick first step, showcasing quality lateral reactions and soft, confident hands that absorb the baseball smoothly. His arm action is loose and adaptive, allowing him to throw accurately from multiple slots on the move. Offensively, he displays repeatable barrel control with a short, direct path inside the ball, utilizing a line-drive approach that sprays hard contact across the field. A true baseball player with excellent winning habits that will continue to improve playing in a top notch program under Coach Hawes.
