Thin athletic frame, standing around 5-foot-10 and 160-pounds. Square balance stance, simple load to stride, and has a controlled contact driven swing especially when in two strike counts. Matches pitch planes well and has the ability to hit for average with barrel control and adjustability in the swing. Had two hits and two walks on the night and none bigger than the walkoff to end it in the fourteenth. Defensively a solid defender at second base. Athletic enough to play in the outfield and have seen him catch numerous times where he a solid defender there as well, so needless to say he offers some positional versatility.

Connor is 5-10 with a lankier athletic frame that has plenty of projection left to it. He hits from the left side from an open leaned back athletic stance, strides on line, short load back to a slight wrap. Hips rotate completely and he maintains good lower half balance. Hands stay inside, short to the ball, uphill swing path, showed a pull preference with some natural loft in his swing, exit velocity was 74. Behind the plate, clean exchange, throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, position velocity was 70 and pop times 2.08-2.18. Showed some accuracy on his throwdowns. Ran a 7.08 60 yard dash.

Some accuracy on his throws. Showed versatility taking balls in the infield where his velocity was 71. Ran a 7.41 60 yard dash.

RVA Fall Review
Compact athletic frame at 5-foot-9, 155-pounds. Short fluid swing from the left side. Line drive approach that consistently found the barrel and used the entire field. Looked comfortable in the swing and approach. Exit velocity was 77 mph. Defensively worked out in the infield and behind the plate. In the infield Connor flashed quiet eyes and hands on approach, quick exchange, and short arm action. Threw from a low three-quarter arm slot across at 67 mph. Behind the plate he showed solid receiving skills not dragging pitches through the zone and throws were accurate around the bag. Pop times ranged from 2.08-2.15 with a positional velocity of 69 mph. Home-1st time was 4.13. Connor's hit tool plays with present barrel awareness and he should round out nicely as overall strength continues to improve.

Compact 5-foot-9, 155pound frame. Balanced set up at the plate with a short swing keeping hands inside the ball. Nice bat speed. Like rhythm at the plate in game, took some quality swings on day 1. Feel for barrel, can spray the ball around the field. Like the foundation offensively. Solid backstop, received well in game, clean feet. Liked how the hands worked at the plate.
