Ritchie is 5-11 with a lanky frame that has plenty of projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a balanced athletic stance, short stride on line, short load back. Hips rotate completely and he maintains some lower half balance. Keeps hands inside, slightly uphill line drive swing path, some strength at contact, exit velocity was 84. In the outfield, gets behind the ball and fields through it with average hands. Clean exchange, throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, velocity was 86. Ran a 4.25 home to first. On the mound, throws from a very high three-quarters arm slot, short free arm action, normal effort to his delivery. Shoulders are uphill and on line, lands square with an athletic finish. Fastball was 79-81, with some downward plane. Curveball had good armspeed and sharp 1/8 break at 70-71. Change-up had some armspeed and was 75-76 with armside run. Slider had good armspeed and was 70-73 with sharp late 2/8 break.
