Stuffel has a compact athletic frame. On the mound he uses a long loose arm swing from a three-quarter slot. Three pitch mix and uses both offspeed pitches well. The fastball had some crossfire action to it and was able to get in right handed hitters. Velocity was down just a tick from what I have seen him at before, but that did not change his willingness to compete. The breaking ball was 63-66 with some big 2/8 sweeping action. Showed the ability to throw the breaking ball for strikes and finished counts with the breaker when he was ahead. The changeup had solid arm speed and was used effectively versus right handed hitters at 73-75 mph.

Compact athletic frame. Left handed arm that works with some pace, intent, and has some effort in the delivery. Quick arm from a three-quarter arm slot. Lands closed down the mound, works against a soft front side, and glove is disconnected at foot strike. Fastball stayed down in the zone and worked to both sides of the plate at 78-80 mph. Flashed some arm side run to the arm side and the fastball got in under right handers hands. Had average feel for a 1/7 breaking ball at 68-69 mph. Should be an interesting arm to follow as he continues to grow and add strength.
