4.21.16:  Luke is an athletic righty who throws from a high three-quarters arm slot with a drop and drive delivery. Luke has level shoulders that are on line as he strides to a square landing and athletic finish. He generates velocity with normal effort and his fastball sat 79-81 with some run. His curveball had gradual 12/6 break at 65.
1.18.16: Luke has an athletic 6-2 frame and a good arm action. He showed good command of his sinking fastball and it ran 79-82 with good late bite.
11.1.15: Luke has an athletic frame with strong legs and throws from a high three-quarters arm slot with a drop and drive delivery. He has a short, quick arm action that generates velocity with normal effort. His shoulders are level or slightly down and closed as he strides out on line and screws into a square landing before coming to an athletic finish. Luke’s fastball sat 80-81, touching 82, with slight cut and good downward plane to it. His curveball had sharp 12/6 action with decent armspeed and flashed the potential to be a very good pitch, running 63-66.
2.15.15 Luke has an athletic frame and throws from a high three-quarters arm slot. He has a long arm action and quick arm stroke. He has drop and drive mechanics, and stays on line throughout his delivery. His shoulders are slightly uphill and on line at balance point and he comes to an athletic finish. Luke’s fastball had some late sinking action to it and ran 75-78 mph, touching 79 mph. He threw a loopy 11/5 curveball in the 61-63 mph range that he kept down. He slowed his arm a bit on his change-up, but threw it with fade in the 68-70 mph range.

7.14.15 Luke has an athletic frame and throws from a high three-quarters slot with a smooth drop and drive delivery. He has a shorter, loose arm action and a quick armstroke that generates velocity with normal effort. His shoulders are downhill and online as he strides out to a square landing with an open front foot before he comes to an athletic finish. Luke’s fastball was 78-80 with slight run and sink to it. His curveball was thrown with good armspeed and had sharp break, running 64-66. His curveball had different shape depending on where it was thrown, 11/5 to gloveside and 12/6 to armside. His changeup was thrown with decent armspeed and armside run, sitting 71-72.
