Athletic frame with some projection left to it. Premium runner on the bases. Short path the ball with quick hands. Had a double down the left field line. His elite speed caused some havoc every time he put the ball in play and when he was on base. Has ability to hit for average with some doubles power. Fluid defender at second base. Soft hands, quick exchange on pivots, and feet worked around the bag. Has ability to stay at second base at the next level, or could easily play two to three outfield positions.
Dansberry is 5-8 with an athletic frame that has plenty of projection left to it. He is a switch hitter, from the right side from a balanced athletic stance, short stride on line, loads down and back into a wrap, hips rotate completely with some violence and he maintains some balance during his swing. Short to ball, uphill path with extension through it and strength at contact, showed slight pull preference, exit velocity was 84. From the left side, exit velocity was 78. In the outfield, has speed, rounds ball and fields with above average hands that are fast, quick clean exchange. Athletic defender. Throws from a three-quarters arm slot with a fast arm and lots of carry, position velocity was 82. Showed versatility taking balls in the infield as well, velocity was 80.
Dansberry has an athletic frame that still has projection left to it. He showed elite speed on the weekend and used it to his advantage, running around 4.0 home to first on drag bunts. Has some batspeed and is quick to the ball with extension through it. Intriguing prospect who has speed to cover a lot of ground in the outfield and a bat with potential extra base power.
