Stancil is 6-0 with a strong frame. He throws from a three-quarters arm slot, short free arm action and normal effort to his delivery. Drop and drive delivery, shoulders are level and closed, lands square with an athletic finish. Fastball was 77-80, with some late armside run that gets depth. Curveball had good armspeed and was 64-68 with hard 11/5 break to it.
Strong physical frame at 6-foot, 210-pounds. Hits from the right side with an open athletic stance. Pronounced leg kick to stride landing on line. Hands make minimal load, lands balanced, works against firm front side, and hands are short to the ball. Swing path has slight uphill tilt, bat speed through the zone, and gets extension to finish. Present power working gap to gap with an exit velocity of 85 mph.
Strong physical frame at 6-foot, 210-pounds. Delivery has a slower controlled pace. Repeatable leg lift, gathered over rubber, and slight pinch in back leg before driving down the mound. Hips and shoulders elevated, lands closed, and has a long arm action moving into a three-quarter arm slot. Fastball sat 77-80 mph and topped at 81 with some occasional cutting action. Curveball had a bigger 11/5 shape and plenty of depth at 66-68 mph. Slider had a 10/4 slurvy feel to it at times, but showed some solid arm speed and intent sitting 69-72 mph.
