Richmond Braves Workout
Long thin frame at 6-foot-3, 160-pounds. Normal effort delivery with a really short arm action throwing from a three-quarter arm slot. Did not possess a solid feel around the zone on the day, but with the frame and arm he is a guy to keep an eye on. The fastball was up in the zone and arm side for the majority of his outing while sitting 79-82 mph. Breaking ball was loose in shape and similar to the fastball it tended to be up in the zone. The breaking ball had 1/7 shape at 69-72 mph.

Bach is tall with a very lanky frame and a ton of projection. He throws from a low three-quarters arm slot with a short quick arm action. Simple delivery working out of the stretch only. Shoulders are closed and level, lands on line with a light fall off for a lefty. Fastball was 80-82 and mostly just sat at 82. Pitch has hard late run to it and he also creates a tough angle to the plate with his frame and arm slot. Showed ability to move the fastball in and out. Curveball was 68-69 with some armspeed and sharp 1/7 break, pitch has a chance to be swing and miss. Also showed a change-up with good armspeed and heavy fade that was 73-75. Feel for three pitches and a ton of potential for Bach.
