Vollmer is 6-4 with an athletic frame that has some projection left to it. He throws from a low three-quarters arm slot with a short arm action that is loose and quick, normal effort to his delivery. Shoulders are closed and level, lands square with an athletic finish. Fastball was 76-80, touching 81, with hard run and heavy sink. Curveball was 67-70 with some armspeed and late sharp 11/5 break. Change-up was 73-75 with good armspeed and heavy fade.

Vollmer has a tall 6-4 frame that still has plenty of projection left to it. He throws from a low three-quarters arm slot with a free arm action and normal effort. Fastball was 82-83, touching 84 once, in a short relief appearance. Pitch had heavy run to armside and some depth to it as well. Threw two change-ups that ran 75-76 with good armspeed and a lot of run to them. Definitely an arm to see again in an extended outing.
