Cunningham is 6-1 with an athletic frame that has plenty of projection left to it. He throws from a higher three-quarters arm slot, very short free quick arm action and some effort to his delivery. Shoulders are uphill and closed, lands open with a fall off finish and some recoil. Fastball was 78-79, touching 80, with some downward angle and some late armside run. Curveball had good armspeed and was 66-67 with hard sharp 11/5 break to it, pitch flashes swing and miss.

Body: 6/1, 160 pounds. Average frame.
Delivery: Big rocker, controlling tempo through the pivot. Lifts with a slight coil in the hips, working to the mid-chest. Pelvic tilt sets the head beind the center of the body. Swings to an on-line and square foot-strike.
Arm Action: R. Short arc, turning the ball a little early and working to an over-the-top slot. Average arm speed and extension.
FB: T79, 77-79 mph. 1943 rpm. Solid induced vertical break of 18.88 inches from a 12:15 tilt out of the hand.
CB: 65-69 mph. 1999 rpm. 10/4 tilt when he stayed through it. Lacked consistent intent and extension.
CH: 70-71 mph. 1490 rpm. Solid average. Stiff through the finish at times, recoiling out of the change-up

Cunningham possesses a thin long limbed frame at 6-foot-1, 150-pounds with plenty of projection left to it. The right hander starts with a side step rocker, average height balance point, and chest is upright at hand break. Hands stay high throughout before breaking to a short arm action from a high three-quarter arm slot. Displayed ability to fill up the strike zone with a four pitch mix. Fastball worked to both sides of the plate and had occasional arm side run at 76-78 mph. Curveball had 12/6 shape and sat at 61-63 mph. Slider had 11/5 shape with two-plane depth at 61-62 mph. The changeup displayed arm side fade with feel around the zone at 63-65 mph.
