11.5.17: Canterbury is 6-2 with an athletic frame, throws with a drop and drive delivery from a three-quarters arm slot with a shorter free arm action, normal effort to his delivery. Shoulders uphill and on line, lands square with athletic finish. Fastball was 71-74 with some plane and late sink. Changeup was 66-68 with sink and good armspeed. Curveball was 58-62 with gradual 11/5 break and some armspeed.
9.23.15: Canterbury is an athletic righty who has a drop and drive delivery and throws from an over the top arm slot. He has a long, stiff arm action and generates velocity with normal effort. His shoulders are closed and slightly down as he strides out, landing on line with an open front foot and falling off a bit as he finishes. Canterbury’s fastball had late run to it and sat 68-69. He threw a sharp 12/6 curveball that ran 57-62. He also showed a straight change with good armspeed that ran 60-65.
