Fitzwater has a strong athletic frame. Short torso and long legs with a high waist and strength present throughout. Slightly open stance, weight preset back, and strides on line. Hands separate in rhythm and seeks contact out front. Has pull side tendency to the swing with a slight uphill path. There is power present to thee pull side, as displayed last week in the Western Branch game where he hit a three run home run late in the game. In his first at bat tonight he hit a deep double to center field. Doesn't swing and miss much on fastballs, but has shown a tendency to get too far out front on offspeed pitches. Plays first base and moves really well around the bag. Intriguing uncommitted 2022 that has the chance to be a nice middle of the order bat at the next level.
