11.1.15: Cochrane has a strong lower half and throws from a high three-quarters arm slot with a smooth drop and drive delivery. He has a short, loose arm action and a quick armstroke. His shoulders are closed and slightly uphill as he strides out on line to a square landing before falling off a bit as he finishes. Cochrane’s fastball had hard late run at the bottom of the zone and sat 79-81. He threw a sharp 10/4 slider with good armspeed that ran 63-66. He slowed his arm a bit on the one changeup that he threw, and the pitch had sink while running 64. He showed good command of all his pitches.

6.13.15:  Cochrane throws from a high three-quarters arm slot with a drop and drive delivery. He has a slight wrap to his arm action but has a quick arm. His shoulders are closed and downhill. His fastball has some downhill plane and was 78-82, touching 83. He struggled with command in the wind-up as his delivery was rushed and out of sync. He was more comfortable from the stretch, pounding the strike zone.
2.22.15 Cochrane has a strong frame and throws from a high three-quarters slot. He throws with a short, wrapped arm action and uses a bit of effort to generate his velocity. His mechanics are rushed and he has a short stride and finishes upright. He does stay online and his shoulders are level at footstrike. Cochrane’s fastball had slight run and sink to it and sat 76-77 mph. He threw a curveball that he slowed his arm down on that ruan 56-60 mph. Cochrane’s change-up slight movement, with decent armspeed, and ran 62-65 mph. He commanded all three pitches very well.
Cochrane is 5-foot-11 and has an athletic frame. He throws from a high three-quarters slot and has a short arm action with some effort. His shoulders are level and closed at power position and he lands closed. Cochrane’s fastball sat 79-81, touching 82 with some movement. He also showed a slider that he commanded well that sat 67-71, a 12/6 curve that sat at 65 and a change-up at 71.

Cochrane is a 5-foot-11, 190-pound, First Baseman that hit from a tall/balanced stance with good vertical stacking.  Set up with high hands, long/smooth load back, balance, rhythm, and short stride.  Attacked the baseball.  Explosive hands. Good hand path to the ball.  Didn’t fully engage the lower half.  Has more in the tank.  Had an exit velocity of 84 mph.  In the field, Cochrane was able to move around the bag.  Showed average range and had soft hands.  Was able to get rid of the ball quickly and throws were accurate.  Had a positional velocity of 70 mph.
