3.17.16:  Jansen is an athletic outfielder with very good speed. He has a strong arm and gets good jumps in the outfield, covering a lot of ground in centerfield. At the plate, Jansen has a patient approach and sees a lot of pitches. He hits from an upright athletic stance with a short load back and stride forward. He has a good lower half and maintains his balance throughout his swing. He is short to the ball and has decent bat speed. He has a line drive approach and uses the whole field with gap power.
10.31.15:  Jansen stands an athletic 6-0 tall and hits from the right side. He has a tall stance and takes a short stride while loading back. He has a good lower half and maintains balance throughout his swing, generating average batspeed and registering and exit velocity of 80 off of the tee. He has a good approach and a bit of a longer swing, maintaining a line drive approach while using the entire field. In the outfield, Jansen gets good breaks on the ball and is very quick to it. He has a quick, clean release and throws from a three-quarters arm slot with a positional velocity of 82. Speed is a tool that Jansen brings to the field, as his home to first from the right side is 4.06. 
2/15/15:  Hit from an athletic/balanced stance.  Has a minimal load that was smooth.  Short stride (tap step) and stayed on line.  Good approach at the plate with a somewhat stiff/methodical rhythm.  Short, level path to the ball with a line drive stroke.  Had an Exit Velocity of 80 mph.  In the field, threw from a high ¾ arm slot with a long loose arm action.  Throws were accurate and had carry.  Plus athlete that played through the ball.  Exchanges were clean and quick.  Good footwork with fluidity and showed soft hands.  Moves very well.  Had a Positional Velocity of 79 mph.

7/31/14:  6-foot-0, 147 pound, OF, witha very athletic frame that allows for strength to be added.  He ran a top 60-yard dash time of 6.98.  Jansen’s speed will allow him to play any outfield position as well as be a strong threat to steal bases.  Offensively Jansen stands tall in his stand with good rhythm.  He has a simple load and stride that allows him to have a short and compact swing.  His compact and simple swing will allow him to spray balls to all parts of the field and utilize his speed.
